Makeup artistry has been a joy in my life since 2005. I am a makeup artist specializing in weddings and special events. Miss Kimberly Lane is a beautiful young woman that I have had the pleasure of getting to know through Job #3 (I am also a bartender extraordinare). She and her fiance are getting married this summer and I am so excited to be a part of their special day. I will be fancy-ing up the ladies by day and mixing drinks for the guests by night. Then with any luck…dancing my face off. It’s not usual that I get to attend the actual event, so I plan milking this party for what it’s worth. (I’m kidding Kim, but I really am so excited to be invited!) Here is a peak at their engagement session, for which I did her makeup. If possible, I encourage my brides to schedule their trial on a day of one of the many events leading up the wedding; engagement shots, bridal shower, bachelorette party, etc. Even though I include the trial in my Day-of price, why not get some bang for your buck!? July 2009… Rebecca and Eric got hitched. One of by very best friends and makeup guinea pigs from the beginning. I can remember begging this girl to let me practice on her back in high school…which was a bit scary. I’m pretty sure I actually painted her face once or twice, experimenting for my “editorial” looks. Absolutely beautiful bride! And the maids weren’t half-bad either! The feather lashes were done for a client when I was in college and working at MAC. Her name is Cherie and she was a wonderful photographer… I have since lost touch with her and am afraid I don’t have any contact info for her.
